Central Oregon
Hoping to explore more of Central Oregon, but here are some of my favorite selections including Mount Bachelor, the Three Sisters and Broken Top, Three Fingered Jack, Clear Lake, the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, and Smith Rock State Park. I have more pictures up from Central Oregon including more waterfalls in the Darkroom.
Columbia River Gorge
There are so many more photos, but here are the highlights! One could spend DAYS in this area and still not see it all.
Eastern Oregon
We took a little journey to the unknown and came back changed, we can feel it in our bones. Eastern Oregon’s Owyhee Canyonlands, Steens Mountain, Alvord Desert Playa & Hotsprings, and the Painted Hills are absolutely in a class all their own. Truly breathtaking, and it was just the two of us in open spaces for most of the trip as we went in early February. Temps hit highs of just 30 degrees and lows in the teens while we were out there!
Mount Hood
I have so many more photos of Mount Hood and the surrounding National Forest, including waterfalls like Umbrella and Sahale, more pics of Tamanawas Falls, many lakes such as Trillium Lake, Timothy Lake, Lost Lake, Bull Run Lake, plus cabins and camping, and more. Northern California
A solo trip to Northern California, and it was HOT coming through the Shasta area and into Redding and Burney. It was 116 degrees and melted my windshield wiper blades! But the trip was still pleasant, and I got to see Lake Shasta, Half Moon Bay, the Portola Redwoods State Park, Burney Falls, and the bridge from Stand by Me. Add in day stops in Santa Cruz and San Francisco, and this trip was epic!
Oregon Coast
From the North Coast including Cannon Beach and Astoria to the Central Coast with Cape Kiwanda, Cascade Head, and Neahkahnie Mountain, down to the South Coast with Bandon Beach. Not pictured here: Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor, which I hope to photograph again in 2023.
Washington
Obviously, this small gallery doesn’t do Washington any justice at all, but I have so many more photos to share and tons of videos on Washington locations. Take a look at the YouTube channel for more Washington views.
